One of the most important ingredients of a successful party is the entertainment. Having the right music at the right time will turn a normal party into an affair that guests will long remember.

We believe that the DJ is there to play the music not play the class clown. Unless requested we don't use silly props or gimmicks. We don't have to. We understand that often times less is more and we concentrate on playing the right music at the right volume.

Our DJ's are experienced in a variety of settings. We provide service to 20 of the top bars and nightclubs in the Washington region.

Megawatt is experienced at working with some of the top vendors in the industry (please check our reference page). You can expect that your DJ will be professional, courteous and capable. He will also be dressed appropriate to the event.

Megawatt DJ's only use professional grade equipment. We will arrive at your event with an industry standard sound system. Our equipment is checked before every show and we adhere to factory preventive maintenance schedules, with all equipment repairs done by manufacturer-approved facilities.

We completed our transition to an all CD format in 1991. We use licensed copies of music. All of our DJ's subscribe to Promo Only, which is a legally licensed DJ music subscription service. One of the advantages of Promo Only is they provide "radio friendly" edits of songs with questionable lyrical content. Music should entertain, not offend.
