Our philosophy- Weddings should be elegant and classy affairs. We believe that the DJ is not the focal point of the event. Our goal is to provide an energized, fun evening. A wedding reception is complex and in order to run smoothly it requires the cooperative efforts of all your vendors. Our experience and professional attitude will allow you to relax and focus on your family and guests rather than worry about the reception. This is why the majority of our business comes from referrals made by fellow professionals in the industry.

CORPORATE HISTORY

Headquartered in Great Falls, VA, we were founded in 1984. Initially our core business was providing DJ's to some of the top bars and nightclubs in the region. By 1989 we were receiving so many requests to do private events that we launched our mobile and private party services. Our growth has been driven by referrals and word of mouth. Megawatt filled the need for fun but professional disc jockeys.

Today we have 20 club accounts and over 50 DJ's on our staff. We handle events ranging from intimate to large venues. Additionally Megawatt DJ's have performed at events across the nation and in several different countries.
